Articulate Studio ’13 Available Now

Oct92013

We’re very excited to announce that we’ve released Articulate Studio ’13. It’s packed full of new features that’ll make your job remarkably easier and your learners even happier.

Faster Authoring, Richer Learning
We put serious attention into Studio ’13 user interfaces and workflows so that you can work faster, with fewer clicks. For example, you no longer need to open a separate window for each Articulate Quizmaker question; they open as tabs in one window. And in Articulate Engage, you also add content for your interaction in a single window.

Other features that dramatically improve the authoring experience include a character library with 47,500 combinations of characters, expressions, and poses; 10 new Engage interactions with a sleek, modern look; and new free-form question types that give you even more ways to test your learners. You can also publish your Articulate Presenter course up to five times faster, which can make a huge difference on large scale projects.

See how the unified player gives learners a seamless navigation experience.

Your learners will love your Studio ’13 courses, too. Because Presenter, Quizmaker, and Engage now share a single unified player, they’ll see only one set of navigation controls and one menu, even when your Presenter course includes a Quizmaker quiz or Engage interaction. But what they’ll probably love the most is the freedom to take your courses on virtually any device. With a single click, you can publish your courses, quizzes, and interactions to Flash, HTML5, and iPad. For the best possible experience on iPad, have your learners use the free, redesigned Articulate Mobile Player iPad app, which beautifully displays Articulate Studio ’13 and Articulate Storyline content on iPad.

Easy Screencasting
Last, but not least, we’re thrilled to announce the newest member of the Articulate Studio suite: Articulate Replay. Replay makes it super simple to create training screencasts with personality. You can record your screen activity and your webcam at the same time, and Replay keeps the clips synced up. Then you can flip between the clips or show both clips at once by applying mixes—with a single click, of course. As a result, you can personally guide learners through material.
