Guru Honorable Mention: 8 Rules of Framing by Torrance Learning

The folks at Torrance Learning needed to create an effective marketing piece for their client, a local mediator. The project needed to acquaint viewers with the mediator’s style and approach, while also teaching about an important mediation tool known as framing.

So, what did the designers come up with? A clean, no-nonsense course, built with Articulate Presenter ’09, that not only met the client’s needs but also scored an Honorable Mention in the 2010 Articulate Guru Awards! Take a look at what they created:

What stood out to the Guru judges? The judges liked the course’s eye-pleasing visual design — it includes some cool theme-appropriate visual elements without being distracting or overly busy. The judges also noticed that the designers made good use of hyperlinks to create simple, intuitive navigation options. Another notable aspect of the course was the high-quality narration — this was especially neat because the designers worked directly with the client herself to record the audio.
