elearning_guild.gif As noted in the eLearning Guild‘s latest newsletter, the organization is conducting an online survey on Rapid e-Learning Development:

“Based on past Guild research, there can be no question that rapid e-Learning development remains one of the hottest topics in the Guild community. We all know that e-Learning development cycles can be long and costly, and reducing time and expense in this area seems to be a key driver for organizations who have embraced e-Learning, but is rapid e-Learning the answer?”

You bet it is!

“Now, the Guild Research Committee would like your help in answering some of these questions. We want to know what you think, and what you are seeing in your own organizations when it comes to rapid e-Learning development. Take a few moments to complete this survey and contribute to our increasing body of knowledge on this important topic.”

As you might suspect, we’re going to be as interested in the results of this survey as the Guild Research Committee, so please take a moment to share your experience with the Guild and, by extension, us, your favorite provider of rapid e-learning tools.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like a great piece of software. Yet it’s limited functionality with flash seems to dim the product to me. It would be great if u could have multiple flash movies in each slide. It would also be great if the flash movies could make calls to external movies also. I would also like to see an easyier way to make other skins and wrappers for your program so developers could make there own look and feel to the program. Maybe thats alittle to open source. Keep up the development though. Seems like a rising star and very easy funtionality with powerpoint.

Thanks for the kind words and suggestions, Jason. I’d encourage you to submit feature requests via our new request feature form.

As for calls to other Flash movies, take a look at the Articulate Player SDK.

Skins can be pretty highly customized in the Player Template Builder.
