As I heard someone in the Articulate community say a couple days ago, E-Learning Heroes are so resourceful and creative that “they eat ‘that’s impossible’ for breakfast!” True that! I’m always amazed at how Articulate users continually share their ingenuity in the community — and how we all get smarter as a result. This past week there was plenty of e-learning goodness to go around, and we’ve collected some of the best tips and insights right here for you to savor:

I seem to be having problems getting some of the Screenr’s to run. Is this just me or is anyone else having a problem.

Hi Nancy- Screenr checks out OK for me. What are you seeing?

Ha, thanks Pink Lady. That’s what happens when you write a blog post during breakfast. 😉

Hi Jeanette,

So many great tips on your blog! I’ve decided to catalogue them using a Glossary Engage interaction. When I get to the maximum number of entries I guess I’ll have to start a second one, however, this allows me to catalogue the tips by topic. I enter the url or screenr location as a hyperlink so that I can re-visit the blog entry.

It’s working well so far.

Hi Gabe,

When I click on the Start button nothing happens. Like yesterday I was able to view the Spotlight Effect demo, but couldn’t get any of the other screenr’s that she had done to run.

Jeanette, you and the community come up with so many great tips, I could spend 24/7 reviewing and trying out all of them and never get outside! LOL

Thank you, again, for a useful post. I especially like the “nutrition” label image, and am thinking how I can use that idea in a future course!

Steve- sounds like a cool way to organize the tips!

Nancy- you may want to upgrade your Flash Player or check with your IT department. Are you able to access the screencasts from home or another location?

Gabe –

Updated Flash Player. Still have some that won’t run at work. Tried at home and they did run, must be on work side.

Thanks for your help.

Nancy

Glad you narrowed it down, Nancy. Your IT department should be able to help you out.

@Steve: what a neat idea! That would be a great thing to share in the E-Learning Heroes forums. Maybe you could post a couple screenshots or even a link to your Glossary interaction!

@Jenise: glad you liked the image. I’ll post that in the forums this week so you can have it as a starting point for customizing something of your own, in case that’s helpful. 🙂

Hi Jeanette,

Here is the link to the glossary interaction cataloguing tips from your blogs. For those like me who have trouble memorising all of the tips it may help as a useful filing system. This link shows just a sample of how this may be done.

Any ideas to develop this (better categories etc) would be welcomed.
