I have downloaded these templates as a zip file and expanded them into a folder on my desktop. Now where do I put the files on my system so that when I use Articulate in PowerPoint, I can select one of these new templates? I’ve tried moving the files under C:Program filesArticulatePresentertemplates but they do not appear as a choice when I select Player Templates in the Articulate tab in PowerPoint. I have Articulate 09 – just purchased in early October.
Any info would be greatly appreciated as these look like awesome templates!

Hi Paula!
You can do a couple things. First, I’m guessing you were able to open the .pptx or .ppt files okay.
In PowerPoint 2007, you can open the .pptx file, say Desktop-2007.pptx and then click the Design tab, click the More button (small black arrow) and select Save Current Theme. This saves the theme in your Design tab. Now you can create a new, blank PowerPoint file and select the theme from the Design gallery. If that doesn’t help, let me know.
Hi Paula – here’s a quick screencast I put together on the process for saving as Design Themes and PowerPoint templates:

Thanks so much, these are all great.
Thanks so much, Dave! Excellent directions.

Thanks Paula and glad to hear that helped. I went ahead and created a screencast for each version of PowerPoint since the process for saving and loading new templates is a little different.
