Share Project Files

If you work in a collaborative environment with more than one content author using Articulate Presenter on different machines, chances are that you occasionally need to transfer project files from one machine to another.
If your e-learning course or presentation contains any audio or external elements (custom logo, inserted SWF movie, etc.), then there’s more to transferring your project to a colleague’s computer than simply sending your PowerPoint file as an email attachment.
As anyone who’s ever asked Articulate Support to review a file knows, the following is our recommended method to transfer a project from your computer to another:
- Go to Articulate -> Publish -> Zip File -> Next.
- Select 2nd option, Zip Project Files -> Publish.
- Click Yes to view the folder containing the zip file.
This will package up your PowerPoint file, along with the contents of your Project Folder, into a single zip file, ready for delivery to your fellow content author.
Important: Your colleague must unzip the contents to a local drive before opening and publishing.
