Hi Jeanette, I like the “juggler” post-it note. How did you make it?

Hi Ron – Ha, thanks! It’s kind of a spinoff of something I saw on iStockPhoto, but I wanted to use different images on the post-it. 🙂 So I started with a plain yellow square, drawn with PowerPoint’s shape tool, on a blank slide. Then I added a page-curl shadow, like David describes here: http://screenr.com/pV8 The juggling guy is a scan of my own not-very-sophisticated hand-drawn stick figure, lol. Once I had everything positioned on the yellow square, I just did a screenshot and saved it as a .png.

Hi, Jeanette,

I’m a new user and your screencasts are SO helpful! I’m a state worker blocked from Twitter, so am using this form to reach you with a question about this tip:
” How to narrate & annotate an #Articulate Presenter slide, all at the same time”

This is fabulous, but I’m working in PPT 2003 – can’t get screen with both narrate and annnotate up at same time.

Hi Lissa, and thanks for your kind words! If you’re using PPT2003, when you choose Record Narration from the Articulate menu and the record window loads, you should see a checkbox in the upper-left of the window that says Show Annotation Tools. Have you marked that? That should make the annotation tools appear on the toolbar of the record window.

Sure, anytime you post a question or topic in the Articulate community forums I’m likely to see it (http://www.articulate.com/forums/ )… or you can always send a private message via the forums (to do that, click User CP on any of the forum pages after you’ve logged in, and you can send a message from there). 🙂
