This article applies to Articulate Quizmaker 1. See what’s new in Quizmaker 2!

SNAG-0670.png Articulate QuizMaker includes a built-in feature to display an instructions screen at the beginning of your quiz (go to Quiz Properties -> Quiz Information). But what if you want to include additional instructions or details for your users once the quiz has begun?

No problem. You can leverage the multiple choice question type. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Insert a multiple choice question into your quiz.
  2. Type your mid-quiz instructions or details in the question field.
  3. Provide a single choice (e.g., “Continue” or “Proceed to Part II”). Mark this choice correct.
  4. Move the new question to your desired location in your quiz (e.g., between questions 2 and 4).
  5. Publish!

Note: Remember to factor the point value of your quiz instructions or text page into the overall quiz score.

Hi! Can you tell me how you created specific feedback for each of your questions?

Hi Colleen- When you’re adding a new question to your quiz, look for the “Feedback Type” section beneath the question. Here you can define correct/incorrect question-level feedback. As an example, take a look at the true/false question documentation and you’ll see screenshots.
