Good day, can you tell me how Articulate is going to address the lack of support for Flash Videos since Adobe has dropped the ball? If the Presenter exports to a swf file, what is the future for this type of program? Thank you.
@Lynda: Adobe’s announcement to discontinue Flash support on mobile devices does not affect our product strategy for the desktop. Our products will continue to create Flash-based content for desktop computers.
We have a brand-new product in development called Articulate Storyline, which we’re aiming to release soon. It will include options for HTML5 / iOS output. It is currently in customer beta testing. You can learn more here.
The next major version of Studio will also include support for HTML5 / iOS output.
You can sign up here to be notified as soon as we release Storyline.
In the meantime, there’s a third-party custom HTML5 skin available for Presenter ’09 here.
